Wedding Etiquette 101: The Do's and Don'ts for Guests

Attending a wedding comes with its own set of etiquette rules. Here are some do's and don'ts for wedding guests:

1. Do RSVP on Time
Once you receive the invitation, respond as soon as possible. The couple needs to know the final guest count for planning purposes.

2. Don't Wear White
This is a well-known rule, but it's worth repeating. Unless specified by the couple, avoid wearing white to not distract from the bride.

3. Do Respect the Couple's Wishes
If the couple asks for no photos during the ceremony or has a child-free wedding, respect their wishes.

4. Don't Bring Uninvited Guests
If your invitation doesn't specify that you can bring a guest, don't assume that you can. Weddings are expensive, and the couple has likely carefully considered their guest list.

5. Do Arrive on Time
Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony starts. You don't want to be walking in late and distracting from the bride's entrance.

Remember, the most important thing is to enjoy the celebration and make it a memorable day for the happy couple.
